Block & Plastering Work

Description

Block & Plastering Work Gypsum blocks are composed of gypsum, plaster, water and in some cases additives like vegetable or wood fiber for greater strength. Partition walls, made from gypsum blocks, require no sub-structure for erection, and gypsum adhesive is used as a bonding agent, not standard mortar.

What Are Block Walls? Block walls contain Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) that can be stacked to form a retaining wall or part of a building. The blocks' sizes may vary based on the design parameters and regulations from the engineer, but they're all the same type of block

Blockwork Walls are typically constructed in wet sites, and the underwater section is constructed from mass (plain) concrete blocks with an in-situ concrete cap for the upper section of the structure. The precast blocks are typically founded on a stone bed and terminate in the tidal zone.
